Data Deletion

This Data Deletion page explains how users, tenants, and connected-account holders can request deletion of their data from YaanX, what we may need to retain for legal and compliance reasons, and how long the process takes.
1. Overview
YaanX provides SaaS technology for taxi operators, fleet owners, and transport businesses to run their own branded booking website, admin panel, driver app, and tenant portal. You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time, subject to the legal retention requirements described below.
2. How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your data, email us at info@yaanx.in with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Please include the following so we can locate and verify your records:
- Your full name
- Your business name (if applicable)
- The registered email address associated with your account
- The registered phone number associated with your account
- Account details or any reference that helps us identify your records (for example, your tenant/business name or workspace)
- A brief description of the data you want deleted (your full account, a specific record, or a connected third-party account)
Send your request from the registered email address where possible — this helps us verify ownership faster.
3. Verification of Your Request
To protect your data, YaanX verifies every deletion request before acting on it. We may ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information to match the request to an existing account. This prevents unauthorized or fraudulent deletion requests.
4. Meta (Facebook & Instagram) and Other Connected Accounts
If you have connected a Meta (Facebook or Instagram), Google, or LinkedIn business account to the YaanX panel to publish content or manage advertising, you can remove that connection and its associated data in two ways:
- Disconnect the account yourself from the YaanX tenant panel under Marketing → Channels or Integrations. Disconnecting immediately revokes and deletes the access tokens and connection data YaanX stores for that account.
- Email a deletion request to info@yaanx.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request", stating the connected account or email address concerned. We will verify the request and delete the associated connection data.
YaanX accesses connected accounts only through the official provider APIs and only for actions you initiate. We do not sell or transfer connected-account data to any third party. Removing a connection at the provider (for example, in your Facebook or Instagram app settings) also revokes YaanX’s access.
5. Data We May Need to Retain
After a deletion request, certain data may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:
- Legal, tax, and accounting records
- Billing, invoice, and payment records
- Fraud prevention and security records
- Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements
- Information we are required to keep under applicable law, regulation, or audit obligations
Where data must be retained, we keep only what is necessary, restrict access to it, and delete or anonymize it once the retention obligation ends.
6. Processing Timeline
Once we receive and verify your request, we aim to process eligible data deletions within 7 to 30 working days. Complex requests, or requests involving multiple connected services, may take additional time, and we will keep you informed where required.
7. Data Collected by Tenants
If you are a customer or driver of a business that uses YaanX, that business (the tenant) is the controller of your data. For deletion of data held by a specific operator, please contact that operator directly. YaanX processes such data as a technology provider and will support the tenant’s lawful deletion requests.
